This Ghd repair service covers the cost of parts and labour to restore your GHD straighteners back to full working order along with return postage, and covers Mk3.1, Mk4, Mk4.1, Mk4.2, Mk5, MS and SS models as listed.  Please note The original Ghd 3 can no longer be repaired.

This repair service does not cover the newer models with the round on/off push button, including the Platinum S8T261, Platinum Plus S8T262, Gold S7N261 / S7N421 or the new Original S4C242

Please note that once we receive your order we book you a virtual repair slot. We expect to receive your straighteners within 2 weeks of your repair purchase. If we do not receive them within 2 weeks of your purchase then please be aware that although they will still be repaired, there could be a delay in repairing them

On receipt of your straighteners we will test them and replace or repair any defective parts including cables, cable connectors, thermal fuses, heating elements, thermistors and backing plates which are all common faults on GHD'S. Repairs to the PCB’s are also covered if these can be done economically.

Once we have repaired your straighteners we will then give them a PAT-TEST to ensure they are completely safe. All repairs include Royal Mail 48 return postage, other options are available during checkout.

NOTE: IF YOU SEND A MODEL NOT COVERED BY THIS REPAIR SERVICE THERE WILL BE A £8.50 CHARGE TO RETURN THEM BACK TO YOU UNREPAIRED.
    

2) Buy the Ghd repair service 

3) Wrap your Ghd straighteners in some bubble wrap put in a jiffy bag and post to the address below. (Only return postage is included)
We recommend a recorded service.

Please do not send in the box or with any accessories as these may not be returned

4) Include your name, your email address, return address and a brief description of the fault.

All parts fitted come with a 3 month return to base warranty and you will be responsible for the cost to return them to us on warranty claims.

The return postage will be via royal mail business post and is included in the purchase price, unless you choose an alternative method during checkout.

Broken/damaged bodies and scratched ceramic plates are not covered but can be replaced for an extra charge if available, please contact us before you make the purchase if you need these replacing and we will give you a quote. If a ceramic plate holder or cable is required a black one will be fitted as standard, coloured ones are available at an extra cost and we will contact you with that option if need be.

Please note we do NOT repair fake irons

If you send us a pair of fake irons either knowingly or un-knowingly they will be returned to you, £8.50 of the initial purchase price will be used to cover our time and extra return postage & packaging costs using a signed for service.

The balance of the voucher price will be refunded to you via PayPal. If you opt for us to dispose of them the purchase price will be refunded to you in full via PayPal.

Please be aware, If you have used "superglue" on your irons and we can't dismantle them for repair due to the superglue, we will return them to you un-repaired with the same costs as stated for fake irons.
